Keyword Advertising is a great tool for business owners wanting to target a geographic region extremely aggressively. Our strategy makes use of Google’s Ad Words, which appear in the lead and right-side margin of Google’s search results.
Keyword Advertising works by bidding on specific keywords relevant to your business. For example, if you are a custom home builder in Lincoln, NE, it would be valuable for your ads to show when phrases like “custom home builder,” or “custom homes,” is Googled in the Lincoln area.
Keyword Advertising is subject to many variables. For example, some keywords are more expensive than others and some more effective. You can expect the “cost-per-click” to vary greatly depending on the geographic target, the season and average search volume.
While we believe Keyword Advertising has its place in a comprehensive on-line marketing program we don’t believe it is necessary for all business types and markets. 1.Specific Keywords
Keyword Advertising isn’t cheap, in fact it’s downright expensive, that’s why we need to make every click count. Our goal is not to generate as many clicks as possible; it is to generate hi-value leads that will lead to business for our clients.
Choosing keywords carefully ensures that your budget is being spent wisely and not just generating useless clicks that eat up your marketing dollars.
2.Specific Ads
When a Google search is performed the searcher gets a variety of search results. This is their chance to click on your ad. As much as we want quality leads to click on your ad we also want to deter unqualified leads from clicking on your ad and wasting your marketing dollars.
In order to accomplish this we create different ads specific to the keyword targets. For example if your company provides home building, siding and window and door replacement we create separate ads for each service.
3.Specific Landing Pages
We’ve gone through the trouble of finding the highest value leads so when a potential client clicks on your ad it’s imperative we get them to take some kind of action – either through a phone call or short form.
In order to increase the likelihood of a potential client taking the necessary action of contacting you we create specific landing pages that correlate with the search. For example, if a client clicked on an ad for window replacement, the content and imagery on that page will speak specifically to window replacement.
